Best Western Southwest | Remodel and Addition

Archetype: ReUse, Stay

This project is broken into three elements combined by a common theme for the hotel experience – that of experiencing the historic rush in the area during what was called the Bone Wars, a period of time in the mid- to late-19th century where explorers came to Colorado and hunted for dinosaur bones. Pahl Architecture and Alliance Construction Solutions worked together to design and construct the three separate elements, which are as follows: the Guestroom Building, converted 8 guestrooms into a combination of new suites and Accessible sleeping units, converted two units into meeting rooms and added public restrooms; a full gut and remodel of the the Lobby Building to provide larger kitchen and eating space as well as a new lobby and front desk space and two enclosed connecting wings to the Guestroom Building; and the Courtyard and pool are completely remodeled.
